the extreme temperatures of the last days in Lebanon:

still hot of course ....

Saturday night it rained a little in Beirut (with an average of 0.4 mm in August it's not easy, same as in July with 0.5 mm in average)

Yesterday I saw that there are still patches of snow on the Cedars mountains side east gives to the interior plain of the Bekaa ....

Spossiba for the pictures. Very nice to compare with my land.

But very very little rain there ! I am having a second summer in August.

In these mountains, over 2000 m it's difficult to see trees. The winter it's snowy and the summer is without rain....

In summer we have very little rain, but the winter is with heavy rain, acceptable in the others seasons.....
750-900 mm at Beirut the yearly average, and between 1000 -1650 mm in the mountains (with heavy snow surely), and between 800 and 200 mm in the interior plain of Bekaa.

you must have +6 +12 the averages in August, no? +14 is a little high....but it's very good.....

here I have now 30,9 (t max today for now here 31.2)

Yes but what's nice is having more consecutive days with high temperatures. Average temp in August is more or less the same then in July.

Hi Sergej!

In this year they are on the same level?! Because I see that normally the averages are very differents in Norilsk (July 10 - 18, August 6 - 12)
