Weather Beirut Lebanon. Summer 2011

Hello everyone!

Today begins the meteorological summer, then we start the season more '"hateful" for those who love snow and cold .... but this is the reality and the cycle of nature .........

For now I do not have complete data for May that I take from the NOAA-NCDC, but in the meantime we can follow the situation ....

Summer is usually less followed with the weather here, because it's often stable .... but that doesn't mean that we cannot write something interesting .......

Meanwhile, we beginning with

until 30 May we have +1.1 C of positif anomaly at Beirut airport (21,8 rather than 20,7)

Yes, but it's "normal" to have more variations at high latitudes compared to the low latitudes....

In the past days we have had these extremes at Beirut airport (source Mundomanz)

Here I report +10 degrees and only few clouds. Wind is 52 kil per hour.

Mmm...it' s hot, because the relative humidity is normally high
But it's often better than the rest of Middle East (they can have 40, and sometimes 50 C!! the t max) despite the low relative humidity

How can they live with 50 degrees over Zero ? But if I think that I can live with 50 degrees below Zero...........
