Prima cosa:
C'è un errore di fondo. Tu hai considerato l'andamento NAO dei mesi estivi del 1969 e 1986, però quando vai a plottare i dati dell'inverno seguente devi aggiungere un anno, perchè si considera l'ultimo mese che immetti nel plot (DJF --> ovvero Febbraio) DJF 1987 = inverno '86/'87 DJF 1970= inverno 69'/'70
Similmente hai fatto con la QBO. Avresti dovuto plottare il 1996.....ma ancora meglio il 2005 e il 2003 considerando l'andamento QBO del 2004 e del 2002.
Seconda cosa:
La NAO ha solitamente un peso maggiore rispetto alla QBO, però per fare una buona previsione bisogna considerare gli indici assieme, il loro andamento, analogie col passato ecc......
......e ovviamente considerare solo NAO e QBO sarebbe molto, ma molto riduttivo.

Pero' come dice il proverbio: "sbagliando s'impara" speriamo allora mi sia di lezione.
Provvedo a plottare le carte basate su NAO, QBO e MEI...
Ecco qua:

-in base al MEI...
