I need help

Salve a tutti,

hope everyone undestand...so, I need some help with mountains in central Italy (Appenini). I was at Mt. Nanos in western Slovenia today and was looking towards WSW and noticed few mountains in extreme distance.
So I need your help guys if anyone can tell me or at least can describe if there are any hills in a shape like on the pic. I assume its somewhere south of San Marino, but not really sure. Never seen so far from here before.

Here is a pic of them, you can see three mountains far away:

Thank you!! So is this 100% true? If yes, then the left one Mt. Catria is ~280km away, mamma mia!
Here is one pic more if you can help me...those two small mountains in the middle of the pic, there is Grado/Lignano in the front.

they seems me "colli Euganei", near Padova, but I'm not sure.

Ciao Aragorth,
perhaps I can help you. Here is a map created with a software I use in my job. The red color represents the areas of central Italy you can see from Mt. Nanos (height 1200 meters above sea level).
The view analysis is based on a the Digital Elevation Model of the earth surface and also consider the earth curvature and the atmospheric refraction.
I hope this can be usefull to you in finding the mountains you have captured in your beautiful picture.

It seems like you took a pic of Colli Euganei (first on the left) and Colli Berici. Colli Euganei are 600 mt high, Colli Berici are 400 mt high.

i Colli Euganei sono bassi, a causa della curvatura terrestre non dovrebbero essere visibili da così lontano.

bisognerebbe vedere se Bio può applicare il suo software anche a questo caso specifico (bel software!)

Gianluca, il Monte Nanos è circa 1300 mt, i Colli Euganei (610 mt) si andrebbero a trovare ad una distanza di circa 150 km in linea d'aria dal punto dello scatto. Non è una distanza tale affinchè la curvatura terrestre non ne permetta la visione. Almeno credo. Inoltre la conformazione dei colli fotografati è veramente identica al profilo di quelle alture.
