C'è poco da fà si dice qua

abbiamo riaperto, da giugno, i confini con tutti ( o quasi ) i paesi UE.
il lockdown ha danneggiato non poco l'economia, ma è anche vero che per il turismo i danni non si contano più, e ancora la conta non è finita, anche a lockdown ormai finito da tempo
e pur con tutti i rischi annessi e connessi, non si poteva continuare a tenere ancora il turismo in lockdown, perchè in parte è ancora come se lo fosse.

Ma si è sempre detto, credo di ricordare, che le frontiere andavano (e sono state) aperte solo ai paesi che dimostravano di tenere l'epidemia sotto controllo.

E mi pare che in ambito UE, Svezia a parte, e forse qualche altro, siano tanti i paesi dove l'epidemia risulta abbastanza contenuta/tenuta sotto controllo.
Focolai non mancano da nessuna parte, come anche qui, ma sembrano circoscritti.

L'importante è non aprire i confini con Brasile, Stati Uniti, o anche Russia, dove l'epidemia è tutt'altro che in diminuzione.

Poi non saprei: da qualche parte, in Italia, sono stati visti entrare americani, pare provenienti dalla Germania....non so ora come è finita questa questione, che a me personalmente ha mandato in bestia

No dai, esagero un po’, ma siamo stati senza pandemie per quasi un secolo...era da aspettarsi che prima o poi se ne verificasse una di simile portata, però credo e spero che passi ancora qualche altro decennio prima di vederne una nuova, dato che questa è ancora tutt’altro che terminata.

"We are now having 40-plus thousand new cases a day. I would not be surprised if we go up to 100,000 a day if this does not turn around and so I am very concerned," Fauci told the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee during a hearing on the pandemic on Tuesday.
Fauci expressed dismay over people congregating in crowds and not wearing masks and inadequate attention being paid to guidelines on reopening.


"We're going to continue to be in a lot of trouble, and there's going to be a lot of hurt if that does not stop," he said.
The urgent message came during a hearing on the latest efforts by the US government to contain the pandemic, as several states struggle to contain the virus amid rising cases and state reopenings. The US reported more than 40,000 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, its biggest daily jump yet.
Asked if the pandemic is under control, Fauci said, "I am not satisfied with what's going on because we are going in the wrong direction if you look at the curves of the new cases, so we've really got to do something about that and we need to do it quickly," adding, "Clearly we are not in total control right now."
Fauci said that he can't make an accurate prediction of the number of cases and deaths the US will see before the pandemic is over, but said, "It's going to be very disturbing, I will guarantee you that."
