Nuovi aggiornamenti Firmware per VP2

Se il firmware della vostra console è datato 28 Nov 05 (o successivi) da ora in poi gli aggiornamenti si potranno scaricare direttamente tramite il collegamento del datalogger al pc senza bisogno dell'updater.

Vantage Pro2 Wireless Console Firmware Direct from PC Install - Apr. 10, 2006
NOTE: The above firmware is only for Vantage Pro2 Wireless Consoles (Davis P/N 6312 or Davis P/N 6312OV).
If your Vantage Pro2 Console Firmware is dated November 28, 2005 or later, you may update your console with the Direct from PC Install file. This file is a stand alone application that will update your console firmware directly through the WeatherLink data logger connected to your PC. (WeatherLink for Vantage Pro2 (Davis P/N 6510SER, 6510USB, 6540, 6544, 6550 or 6560) is required to use the Direct from PC Install file.)
DO NOT USE the Direct to PC Install file if your Vantage Pro2 firmware revision is dated before November 28, 2005.
WeatherLink for Mac OS X (Davis P/N 6520) does not support Direct from PC Install files. To update your console if you are a Mac user, please use a Vantage Pro2 Updater.)

1. Fixes a bug that causes the barometer to intermittently spike.

1. Added the capability to load future firmware directly from a PC to the console/datalogger without the use of an Updater. (see note below).
2. Implemented automatic gain adjustment in radio circuitry.
3. Added background noise (BGN) number to radio diagnostic screen.
4. Modified repeater setup key combination to 2ND and WIND instead of just WIND.
5. Modified the battery voltage threshold for reporting low console battery status to 3.5v
6. Fixed problem where temperature on Temp/Hum stations would not dash out when reception was lost.
7. Implemented new daylights savings schedule effective 2007.
Required: To use these files you will need a Vantage Pro2 Console (Davis P/N 6312 or 6312OV) and WeatherLink for Vantage Pro2 (Davis P/N 6510SER, 6510USB, 6540, 6544, 6550 or 6560).

Io tempo fa chiesi se qualcuno voleva partecipare alla "comproprietÃ*" di un updater per VP2. Se a qualcuno interessa fatemi sapere così anche voi potrete aggiornare i vostri firmware

ho scaricato anche io il firmware, solo che non riesco a trovare la COM giusta.
Nel Weatherlink la COM è la n°12, ma nel firmware le COM arrivano fino la n° 9.
Come faccio?

Io addirittura 27 Maggio 2005, e l'ho comprata 1 mese fa!!!
E' una VP 2 con schermo solare ventilato.
Anche a me interesserebbe l'updater, cosa devo fare?
