Queste le buone notizie per la Gran Bretagna:

Temperature

The Met Office is expecting further cold snaps with the possibility of snowfall through the remainder of this month and these are likely to extend into March. Although there will be variations in the temperature from week-to-week, overall, for the rest of February, the temperature is expected to be around average.

Precipitation

There continues to be an indication for average or above-average precipitation through the remainder of the winter.


e la review del Gennaio passato:

Mean temperatures ranging from around 1.5 °C above average across the Northern Isles to over 3.5 °C above average across some areas of central England. Provisionally over the UK, it was the warmest January since 1916, and second warmest in areal series back to 1914. Well above average rainfall across much of western Scotland, with Scotland W district area having its wettest January since 1993. In contrast, parts of Eastern Scotland and southernmost areas of England had slightly below average rainfall. Sunshine was generally above average with well above average sunshine across E and NE England. However, some western areas of Scotland received below average sunshine.

Capel Curig recorded a gust of 100 m.p.h. on the 18th, with the gales causing disruption over much of England and Wales. Dyce (Aberdeen Airport) recorded a temperature of 15.0 °C on 12th.

Quest'inverno i meteorologi di sua maestà si sono mostrati molto "acuti"....a partire dalla lontana previsione NAO emessa a Luglio. Già a Ottobre avevano ben inquadrato l'evoluzione di massima dell'inverno, specificando che la possibilità di eventi freddi e perturbati erano relegati alla fine dell'inverno-inizio primavera.

Mi sa che avranno ragione anche questa volta......

Non so se sbaglio ma in queste carte vedo l'aria fredda continuamente pilotata a ovest della sardegna con anomalie di temp + diffuse la e sul marocco.....certo meglio l'autunno che lo schifo dell'HP.
