Ok, una volta aperto il menu.lst che cosa devo modificare per il S.O.?
Ho trovato solo il timeout...

Ogni insieme di righe che iniziano con title, root, kernel, initrd rappresenta una possibile scelta nel meni di avvio di grub. Commentando queste ultime (facendo precedere il #) non le renderai più visibili nel menu.
Per scegliere quale sistema operativo avviare di default, basta che nel campo default (sopra timeout) imposti la posizione dell'opzione nel file stesso, partendo da 0.
Nel mio caso si avvia di default Ubuntu 8.04.1, kernel 2.6.24-23-generic, che in ordine è la prima scelta disponibile, infatti nel campo default ho messo 0.
