Hello everybody,

As always in these cases, I continue with a new 3D the same topic but with the seasons according to the meteorological calendar (and not astronomical calendar), although in our climate the second way is better .... I think you know this..

I'm waiting for a day or two to put our data of November from NOAA-NCDC.

Meanwhile, here the good weather continues

here today near Beirut

snow on the ground at 1800-1900 m (but it's visibly melted especially on slopes south facing)

Then the negative anomalies are: -1.3 in Beirut airport, -3.8 in Haouche Al Oumara and -3.2 in Tripoli

Comparing our 2 very different locations it seems that you are having a colder autumn then me.

You can see in the photo (took 2 days ago, source www.skileb.com) Lebanon from the satellite. snowcover here at 1500 m in the West range. the Est range make the border with Syria.

Ah ah ah!
If you compare the mensual average with the normal climatic data in the lebanese cities, yes, I can have a negative anomalies (like in November).
But now, with the meteorological calendar, we are in winter....I hope that december continue with negative anomalies....

Here near Beirut I have had these extremes:
14/12 12.0-17.5
15/12 11.7-17.0
16/12 10.4-17.0
17/12 12.9-19.4
18/12 12.4-19.4
19/12 11.8-20.7
20/12 14.3 -22.5

rainy day only the 17/12 but withouth snow on mountains....for that, with the hot of these 2 last days, the snowcover "soffered" (at 1800-1900 m)
We expect heavy snowfall at Christmas on the mountains (someone talked about the hills too but I doubt!) and in the beginning of the new year (perhaps!)
