I am waking up this topic againAs we discussed few days ago at the dinner time, I am willing to do a deep research of this event in both places... Slovenian tornado and north Italian microburst damage, etc. I am of course more than welcome for you to contribute in this research.
I've just spoken with a friend from national meteo service here and he will take a look at their archive for radar images along with reanalysis maps at different levels from that day. If there is a chance to get some surface data from Italy, that would be really helpful!
This was really a spectacular day, so it should take place on the web as well
