Luc, sinceramente c'ho capito poco ugualmente..

A meno che sul sito francese da cui ho attinto la notizia non abbiano inventato tutto (cosa molto improbabile), Joe inzialmente si è espresso nei termini di cui sopra riguardo all'inverno europeo.

Europe right now is in the same place North America was last January, all the cold is on the "other side" of the world. Once again though fear and panic about global warming becomes the case, with people making apocolyptic statements in Europe, just like after Katrina last year, that this is all a sing of global warming. They fail to acknowledge, for instance, in the Alps, where there has been little snow so far that it was cold in October, and that while they are warm in a way not seen so late in the fall before, there were other areas in the northern hemisphere ( Canada) that were colder than what has ever been seen so early. Showing how teleconnections can work, Mt Washington, as good as any rep of the New England snow seen for skiers as far as showing the lack of snow, has had their warmest November on record and I believe with least snow on record. But it joins not only a pack of years that there was little snow, but such memorable winters with January's that were brutal in the United States as 69-70 and 77-78, both el Nino winters, and both winters that were no day at the beach in Europe.

There is no sign to me that the warm pattern ends any time soon, but dont be surprised that when it does, the atmosphere will attempt to balance things out. That may be targeted more for January than Feb.

And by the way, 2 winters ago, I heard the same type of lament coming out of the pac northwest of the US, the lack of snow, well after last winter and the start this winter for ski-ing out there, its amazing how all that is forgotten. For now though cold air is verboten, until the block can lock and rock over Greenland and near 70 east. I think that is GOING TO HAPPEN but its still over 2 weeks away.

... non si vede l'inverno per almeno altre 2 settimane, fintanto che il blocco non si strutturerà spingendosi verso la Groenlandia verso i 70 gradi est. Note positive, dunque, a partire da Gennaio. Quello che prevede è, dunque, un hp di blocco in Atlantico in erezione verso nord , chiaramente freddo da Nord e continentale da est.

Non ci sono segnali che le condizioni di caldo terminino in tempi brevi, ma non ci si deve sorprendere se quando ci prova (a cambiare) l'atmosfera proverà a bilanciare le cose. I tentativi (di interrompere l'egemonia del caldo) potrebbero ripetersi più facilmente a gennaio che a febbraio.

Me coions, Mr. Bastardi. Mi sembra un certo filosofo nostrano che dice cose tipo "prevedo che il sole sorgerà domattina".

ma da che? ho fatto anch'io come luca e ho usato google...

forse distrattamente ma Joe mi sembrava più che altro esprimersi sul genere"non so quando ma prima o poi farà il botto",quindi nulla di potenzialmente rivelante.

Il ragionamento non fa una piega... il nord è su, il sud è giù, e da che mondo e mondo le erezioni vanno su, cioè verso nord
