[Thunderstorms 2007] Caccia ai tornado Plains 2007: Nowcasting e forecasting

ho incomiciato a vedere alcuni filmati fatti negli usa. ecco una still image che mostra il tornado multi vortex della notte del 23 maggio in texas panhandle. questo tornado è lo stesso riportato nel seguente 3d su storm track: http://www.stormtrack.org/forum/show...3&postcount=25

5 secondi dopo questo frame la mia videocamera è volata via dai forti venti di inflow che entravano nell'updraft.

il multi vortex si vede nel dietro del meso, davanti in primo piano invece si vede un altro funnel che nn so se abbia toccato il suolo. l'altro tornado dietro sono sicuro che abbia fatto danni come report di SPC e dei cacciatori su storm track.

Good catch, Fabio! I agree, definatelly that is the same wall cloud and very likely multi-vortex tornado in the back like fellow chasers from stormtrack posted on that link. That night was an incredible feeling, the inflow into this meso was absolutely shocking....standing there in winds reaching 100-120km/h from time to time and trying to make some good pics. Due to some totally useless circumstances we didn't go closer, what a shame!! hope someone is proud of that.

I managed to do this picture, you can see this massive meso and wall cloud below next to the lightning strike on the right. Thats the area of possible multi-vortex tornado we saw, it was confirmed by SPC of course!




Here is an additional picture of this meso a bit earlier on the different spot, amazing view over the structure and massive beaver's tail from the right there is also some lowering under the meso...
