history.dat: come è fatto??

Come da titolo ...

come è strutturato il file binario history.dat creato da heavyweather scaricando i dati di una lacrosse WS3600??

Volevo provare a fare una conversione in file ascii ....

e per convertirlo in un file leggibile con un foglio di calcolo? ( *.xls ) è una domanda che mi sto facendo in questi giorni....

si, effettivamente e' un file access che permette pero' di importare il file .dat, elaborarlo come meglio si crede (direttamente in access o portandolo in excel) e ricreare il nuovo history.dat dopo eventuali modifiche (valori sballati o quant'altro).
E' molto comodo.

quanto alla struttura del file .dat purtroppo non ti posso aiutare

HeavyWeather folder. HeavyWeather and HeavyWeatherPro use two different
formats, both of which are presented below. Initial format information
for HeavyWeatherPro was taken from Cyril Cavadore's program

Each row of data is stored in 36 byte chunks starting from the beginning of
the file (no header).

Since the timestamp is a double, the fractional part represents fractions of
a day. This is probably the same type as the Delphi TdateTime type. More

Wind Direction

Wind direction is encoded as an integer between 0 and 15. To get the
wind direction in degrees, multiply the value by 22.5. To get compass
directions (moving clockwise) 0 is North, 1 is North-Northeast, 2 is
Northeast, etc...

ti ringrazio lo stesso ... sinceramente qualche giorno l'avevo provato, ma dopo un'attesa di 10 minuti ancora non aveva aperto il file history.dat!!
