il mio target x oggi potrebbe essere guthrie, appena a nord di oklahoma city, sempre nella speranza che la dry line si attivi prima del tramonto. a dopo x aggiustamenti

come mai cos'ì a Ovest ?
non sarebbe meglio piazzarsi al confine fra l'Arkansas e il Mississippi al lato sud est del mdr risk ?

il target che ho detto prima è per oggi, il mdt risk è domani. per ora cmq non ho ancora capito bene dove stare oggi. adesso controllo i nuovi aggiornam,enti delle carte.

ho dato una veloce occhiata a SPC, RUC e ETA. il target sembra buono. stamattina ho scelto Guthrie perchè si trova allo snodo delle highway che portano a N, S, E, O e sopratutto c'è la turnpike che porta a NE. proprio nella zona che mi pare migliore x lo sviluppo di tornado, cioè il confine tra OK, KS, AR e MO. e... SPC ha appena messo il MDT anche per oggi. leggiamo:

DRY LINE WILL SHARPEN UP ACROSS CENTRAL OK INTO SERN KS DURING

KS INTO SWRN MO. STORMS EXPECTED TO EVOLVE FAIRLY QUICKLY INTO

TARGET: OKLAHOMA CITY TIME OF DEPARTURE: NOON Got the afternoon off work. Weather situation is coming together for severe storms this afternoon across NC-NE Oklahoma. PROS: I like the bombing surface low forecasted by the RUC to form in western Oklahoma, excellent jet aloft, and the dryline to sharpen up along I-35 later this afternoon. Low level moisture is better than the 24th but we are at lower elevations here. Strato-cu just broke here in Dallas at 11 AM, yeah. CONS: Elevated mixed layer has capped the region --for now. Looks like convection is more likely in northern OK than southern. I am also concerned about seeding storms along the cold front in NE OK. Hope to pick the tail end charlie storm at OKC and follow it up I-44 to Tulsa. TIM M.

io per stasera non riuscirò a seguire questa bottarella di temporali...ma domani dalla mattina sarò in prima linea con il chasing.

intanto la situazione si prospetta veramente interessate
