Now i report -6,4 and few clouds. Today it is forecasted possible snow and for few days even if temperature should again increase. We will see. With this temperature we are on average.

Russia Today reports the missing visit in Noril'sk of our Prime Minister Vladjmir Putin last August for bad weather conditions.

The visit has been put off next year at June 2011.

Here we have many Christians Church you know (and many Islamic confessions)...but the majority have Christmas on 25 December......a little part (Armenian Orthodox) have Christmas on 6 January...

I'm christian maronite, then a part of Catholic Church...then it's on 25 December for me....
I hope that one day we can celebrate it together!

Siberian Santa Claus come on January 6th. Normally the women prepare the lunch 3 days before that include black bread, soupe, meat with vegeteables (very expensive) in winter here, then sweets with milk and............. alchool. !

In the morning we walk togheter to the local Curch, stay outside around a fire for praying and asking to the God his protection for the new year. At the end the Christmas lunch and at the end around 4 o'clock we do outside to see the fires in the sky. At the end we sing taking our hands to eachother.

We don't have dinner that day and we give our foods to the local Aid for the poor people here including nomadic people that during those days come in Noril'sk.

In Russia different religions don't create any particolar problems to stay togheter with the exeption of some small zones in the south-west

Now there are few clouds with after the sunset. High at -0.3 degrees really good for the season. low at -7.5 degrees. Now -0.9 degrees

Norilchan climate is sooooooooooooooooo good to me. I love Siberia everyday more.
What about mosquitos in summer? I think it's a great problem

Yes, we have a lot of mosquitos in summer especially outside Noril'sk near the water lake since July to later August.

Now it is mild. -0.4 degrees and almost clear. Very acceptable situation.

Yes, in all the world, when you have one religion with the majority in a country it's easy to maintain the peace....But the problem is when you have many minorities together....like us

Yesterday -7,5 0,0 with sunshine. During mild day the Authority removed the few snow on the sidewalks and along the streets that in these days caused at least 3 severe crashes here and kajerkanskaja highway.

Now we stay at -0,2 degrees with brilliant stars in the sky.

Sunrise is forecasted at 9,19 with a sunset around 6,32.

42 days to go to the polar night and 42 days to the big inside party for this.
