few people can live in these zones...but now you can find many rich desertic zones with the money of petrol....for example, in the countries of Persian Golf....
In the others countries, you can find great city in the desert if they have a great river, like Baghdad and Cairo.....

Well, you know I put here my temperature taken personally (at Fourn el Chebbak), usually at Beirut airport they are a little higher, and in the city (AUB for example) a little higher again.
It's true that we are in the dry season lasts five months here (May-September). But it happens that some years can have rain during these months like this...
The averages in Beirut AUB is so minimal in these months:
M 17.3 mm
J 3.3
J 0.5
A 0.4
S 6.7
Year 893 mm
In addition, patches of snow persist beyond '2000 m, but on the slopes that give to the North ..
