> 50 degrees are records.....but > 40 are surely more frequent and > 30 are very frequent in the deserts, but normally with very low humidity...
few people can live in these zones...but now you can find many rich desertic zones with the money of petrol....for example, in the countries of Persian Golf....

In the others countries, you can find great city in the desert if they have a great river, like Baghdad and Cairo.....

08/06: 21.6 -28.1
09/06: 22.7 - 29.0
10/06: 23.4 - 30.7
11/06: 23.5 - 26.7 for now

clear, high hr, but with wind....

we expect rain in the next days instead we are in the dry season.....

many patches of snow resist over 2000 m on the northern sides of mountains

extremes here:

11/06: 23.5 - 28.5
12/06: 22.2 - 28.2
13/06: 21.2 - 27.9 with rain in the evening
14/06: 20.9 - 26.7 for now. rain at the night, and now again

June is a very dry month here, with average 3.3 mm in Beirut AUB ..... many years are withouth rain in this month, and few years are with acceptable totals....

Hello everybody!

Well, you know I put here my temperature taken personally (at Fourn el Chebbak), usually at Beirut airport they are a little higher, and in the city (AUB for example) a little higher again.
It's true that we are in the dry season lasts five months here (May-September). But it happens that some years can have rain during these months like this...
The averages in Beirut AUB is so minimal in these months:
M 17.3 mm
J 3.3
J 0.5
A 0.4
S 6.7

Year 893 mm

In addition, patches of snow persist beyond '2000 m, but on the slopes that give to the North ..

extreme here these days:
15/06 :21.0-28.0
16/06 :23.5-28.5
17/06: 22.0-25.8 for now
the weather today: clear

no rainy days......

it's very stable the summer here.......not very interesting for the meteo level.....

I agree. Probably it is boring weather but it is summer time. Also here we are having stable summer with temperatures on average. Positive thing is the wind that is below the average.

For the remaing..........enjoy the summer that here it is short but intensive.

One thing can be interesting for me in summer, to see how can the snow survive in Lebanon mountains.....
