Aiuto installazione Weather Display su ubuntu LTS 64-Bit

Ciao,

sto tentando di installare Weather Display su ubuntu

per prima cosa mi sono posizionato su uno user qualunque e ho scaricato il file (versione console non avendo X sul server) con il comando

wget http://www.weather-display.com/downl...nsolewd.tar.gz

poi con il comando

tar xzvf consolewd.tar.gz

tento di scompattare il file ma ricevo il seguente errore

gzip: stdin: not in gzip format
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

Cosa devo fare

ho fatto un passo avanti (dimenticavo ho una la Crosse 3650)

il comando per scompattare il file è

tar xvf consolewd.tar.gz

evidentemente anche se ha estensione gz in realà non è stato compresso...

Problema successvo

una volta scompattato il file

vado nella directory consolewdfiles (cd consolewdfiles) e configuro il file config.txt (che allego)
