35 with great humidity are not normal here in Rome. Average maximum temperatures
in summer are mainly between 29 and 33 with low humidity (20-30% during the
late morning and the afternoon). The afternoon can be windy (sea breeze),
we call it "ponentino".
35 (and more) occurs only when we have some nasty heath waves coming
from the sounth (they can last 5-10 days... ). Sometimes, during the afternoon
some parts of the city can be visited by sudden thunderstorms with short but severe
rain showers (expecially before june 15 th and aftern august 15th) .
The WORST things during summer are the NIGHTS....

) and so can be humidity (even 95%

)...
inside our houses it becomes a
TORTURE ( some things like 30 with 75%
humidity are not uncommon... sleeping may be IMPOSSIBILE)
