Yes unfortunately Norilsk has this problem of pollution. The city was created by the end of 20's and the problem seems on the way to be solved in these last year. Every year Authority build new plants and forest and the pollution created by the heavy industries is more under control.

Yesterday we had snow in the morning and low blowing wind since last afternoon wth gusts till around 56 kilometers per hour. Temperature remains above the average. Lowest yesterday was - 14.1 degrees. Highest one was -9.2 degress. Not so bad.

Now my station registers -9.2 degrees and wind around 56 kilometers per hour.

Sergej, do you speak italian?

Do you live in Norilsk since you were born or you went there from another russian town?
Have you ever been in Jakutsk, or Jacutia, or Taymir peninsula, or Chukotka, or in every isolated part of Siberia (that is most of it :D )? I'd love to explore every region of that country, from Cape Celjuskin to Lake Bajkal and Cape Deznev.
I think Siberia is the place where I would like to spend my honeymoon or something like this, anyway it will be a sort of "life travel".

I don't speak Italian. I know some italian words because I have an italian friend in Lombardy that I got in touch during my job.

I was born in Norilsk and my wife too. My parents arrived here in 1953 because here the salaries are bigger than the remaining part of the Mother Russia. Now they ritired 350 kilometers away from Mockba.

I know the Taymir peninsula. Sometimes I go there to climb the mountains.

Twice I went in Ostrov Dikson where the NN has a small centre. I went there by an old russian aircraft. I was a bit scared but the nature seen by the plane was an unique experience !

If you decide to come in Taymir for your honey travel please take all the permission in advance !
