Weather in Norilsk - Russia - Siberia

Any problems to calculate the snowfalls in Norill'sk.

In one of my previous messages I have quoted the snowfall quantity.

Here the results:

september: 5 centimeters
october: 90 centimeters
november: 80 centimeters
december: 80 centimeters
january: 50 centimeters
february: 40 centimeters
march: 30 centimeters
april: 50 centimeters
may: 30 centimeters
june: snow trace or 5 centimeters
july and august: snow trace sometimes

More difficulties I have to change the centimeters in water; so pls consider enought my quantity in centimeters.

Now I report + 5.7 and most cloudy. No rain finally

Can you explain us the difficulties to mesure the quantities of snowfalls in your zone? (or the equivalent to water in mm)
You know that in Canada for example, they subdivise the quantities...and they report the cm of snowfall too........
Have you in average a ratio of 10:1 snow-water in your zone or not? (I know that can change considerably, but in average...)

Yes, I remember, total 460 cm!!

excuse me, but these are your personal mesures, and not official and for many years....to be considered climatic......It can be variable the total with the following of the years...

In Europe and America I know you have clear and statistical information about the climate, snow falls included. Here it is a bit different; Norilchian Authority doesn’t care if we have 460 centimeters instead of 500 or 420 J.

Also I didn’t find any officially falls quantity for Tajmyr on Norilsk.net.

It’s still very hot in Behirut but I hope you can drop below 30 in September.

Here my station in Komsomolskaja reports the same weather. Most cloudy and + 5.8 degrees.

Same temperature but wind is blowing at 56 kil per hour. It tries to clean the sky in South direction. Still cloudy and + 5.2 degrees. Bon Soir or good night

Winds torm ! Wind gust 98 kil per hour. Now it is blowing around 60 / 70 kil per hour. Few noises outside and it is not easy to sleep

Previet. Sunrise in one hour with visible light just above the horizont.

This was the wind was severe with gust at 95 kilometers per hour. Now it seems quite, only 24 kilometers per hour

After the wind storm the temperature is stable around 4.5 degrees with humidity around 88%. Cloudy.

For the next days the weather will remain variable with short possibilities of snow fall at the end of the month

Wind is not quite yet. Sometimes gusts around 60 / 70 kil per hour for few second and then speed returns around 25 kil per hour.
Temperature is stable and summer definetely ended. Now it starts the long norilchian autumn till around the mid of november. Then the cold season.
