In this winter the lowes temperature was -48,9 between 14th and 15th of february. It wasn't a cold winter. We never reached for temperatures below -50 degrees where normally the city stops its activities and the authority allow the norilchians to stay home.

The lowest one was around -6 degrees in December.

Norilsk is below zero degrees since october 7th but october 1st we had a highest temperature for +11.8 degrees.

The lowest temperature ever in Norilsk was -58,6 few years ago with a wind chill around -67 degrees.

I repeat; here the problem are not the temperature or the snow but the wind

Norilsk television reports a snowstorm alarm since later sunday till tuesday morning for snow and severe wind. but the level is only 2 on 5 and i hope it can change

the temperature should be between -25 degrees to -12 degrees. for monday morning we expect to have wind around 70 kilometers per hour and possible closure of alykel airport and connection with the remaining part of Russia. Believe that in this moment we don't need another snow to remove from the City. Please consider that we pay taxes based on also the snow to remove.

here the climate after the winter is boring, because the major part of the times the climate begins to come hotter and hotter till it reaches +30° easily in summer...

this weekend i expect waterfalls above all on sunday but even tomorrow in a minor quantity...for now no favonio we have had it several days ago ) and there in norilsk?? do you expect SNOWfalls?? :DDD previet and spossiba

I live in a little village close to Trento, a city in the North-East of Italy. We have a kind of semi-continental climate (even if not comparing with your ) with quite cold winters (about -10/-11 degrees) and hot dry summers (we can reach even 36°C). In 2009 my station recorded a 46,6°C gap between lowest and highest temperature

spossiba. between our lowest -58,6 and highest +32,4 we had a difference for 91 degrees. this is also the reason why we can stay for 1 month with temperatures below or above 5 - 7 degrees and it is normal for us. in italy you are surprised if you stay 2 degrees above or below the average. here it is a bit different.
