It's interesting to know if the snow on the ground can resist in your city from now....but we can see it on the photo...

You know that yesterday in Italy in Liguria at Genoa zone they have had between 200 and 400 mm of rain in a few hours?

Here we attend the rain in this week....

I have known from some italian friends. And it is the second time in 1 month.

I would like to open a discussion; Is there in Italy a regular weather bulletin that can help the people to know about the incoming alarm ? Here we have hourly weather bulletin and in case of severe weather not forecasted there are the sirens along the streets. I think this alarm is not usefull only for my location but it is usefull for all location interested by wind, rain and so on. Or not ?

You must ask this at the italians....

But I think that their "protezione civile" (civil protection?) have many degrees of alarm.....

In Italy, it's not like Siberia, but they have many problems to face with the vulnerable nature....(climate, geology, geomorphology...)

I received few replies yesterday. They have several alarms but it seems they are not so published in a good way and in additional the time dedicated to the weather forecast is very very short on television and radios. The results is that a lot of people are not aware about the possibiilty of rainy or wind storm. I repeat that it is not necessary to live in Siberia or Alaska for having a good public weather service.

In the meantime here it starts snowing 15 minutes ago. The wind speed is 28 kil per hour and the temperature is increasing a bit.

You must ask this at the italians....
