Ragazzi,
let me explain the situation today...

The whole day direction of Bora was East, in central Slovenia there are low clouds and strong inversion, where cold air sits on the ground. With East direction of Bora that cold air is pushed through "Postojna/Ravbarkomanda doors" towards SW Slovenia and doesn't have a chance to warm a lot until the edge od Carso near Opicina, Prosecco, etc...thats why we had -5 whole afternoon. And there was cold even in Trieste.
But later at the evening Bora started to change the direction into East-NorthEast which cut off this air from central Slovenia, so less cold coming from there. Thats the reason why we got an increment of temperatures in the last hours in combination with adiabatical warming towards the gulf

Currently here again gusts over 100km/h with temp -2.9 (it was -5.5 at 21h!).
