All over the UK the winter is pretty similar. Definitely from north to south temperature increases, and that affects the nature of the fall... However, although in Scotland snow is not too common in Edinbra. When it does, it is likely to be snow showers, but that doesn't help the snow to settle down. Temperature someone wrote in the post are far too low, also because the weather changes rapidly (and this is probably the most interesting thing), and without clear sky the temperature does not drop too much.
