from 1 to 29 June we have an average of 25,6 C (normal 23,5 C) at Beirut airport (data GSOD-NOAA/NCDC)....the hot trend continue......

and 6,6 mm of rain in June (normal 1,5 mm) data Ogimet of Beirut airport....

For the moment it's normal here in July, it mean for 22-23 t min and 30-31 t max at the airport of Beirut .... but the relative humidity remains high throughout the year.

Of course it's cooler in the mountains and the relative humidity decreases ....

in the high plain between the two mountain ranges t max are higher than the coast, but with t min much lower and the relative humidity is low ....

At Beirut we continue with the summer style. heat and humid, but quite normal with the temperatures.for 22-26 t min and 30-32 t max at the airport of Beirut

But in the interior, in the Bekaa plain, between the two mountains range, we have had 42 C in these days! at Houche el Oumara at 920 m. It's a foehn effect. There, they can have naturally t max higher than the coast, but t min lower surely...and the rain here are less than the coast (shadow effect).

Nothing special to report during the month of July in Beirut with record's warm....... But average is still above normal:

I put here the averages of July 1 to 19 according to the NOAA-NCDC/GSOD for the airport of Beirut, and in brackets the normal temperatures for all the month......

At Beirut periphery I have had today:

White sky for the high relative humidity (it's normal at Beirut) and tomorrow it can be very hot in Lebanon, especially in the interior (Bekaa plain)

Of course.....The interior of the country , between 2 moutains ranges have a dry summer with high t max.....the rain is less than the coast too.......

The hr is low in this season in the interior.......(the coast no......here it's not good with a high hr)
In these record of temperature, the hr is very low.......I must control the exact value.....

Today it's very hot there...a new record perhaps! I can tell you this in a few days, but not now......
