Aha! you know, in the temperate countrys, it's more habitual to do the calcul of days with t min below zero.........the period, like you say, with t max below zero is rare....a part the higher mountains......

Then, my question now is: the period with t min below zero at Norilsk (normally)...

Freezing period means temperatures below Zero for all the day.

In 2009 last positive temperature was + 0.6 degrees on October 6th. Then Noril'sk remained below Zero till April 16th in the afternoon without expections.
