Look at my picture token this morning. It was not possible to remove the snow and then calculate the percentage of covered ground and it is early November. Consider it in winter with - 45 and few meters of snow Can I ask for your help to clean Noril'sk ?

It was an another question about the snowcover, because it can be different between countries to count the days with snow on the ground....

Some countries count the days when they have 50% or more of some primeter of the station....perhaps at Norilsk you have more conditions.....in others countries less conditions....
it's difficult to compare the result between differents countries......no standard in these things....

No problem for you in autumn (fall) and winter or even in spring, but perhaps in June, when the snow mild covered only a part of the ground, in these days you must have some method to count....I think the half (for that I talk about almost 50%)....

In the temperate climate, we have this problem if not in winter in mountains, in autumn and spring surely....and in the plains in all seasons....

You don't must remove snow fot that.......perhaps for others reasons yes....

broken clouds. - 14,3 degrees. wind around 14 kil per hour.

for this week end i could reach till + 3 degrees that it is very rare for november broking the freezing period started on october 18th

I report - 16.8 degrees with light snow since few minutes.

During the day broken clouds but without sun. It is low above the horizont now.

23 days to the polar night.

Daily highest - 15.8 degrees. Daily lowest was - 17.3 degrees (till now)

Today a snowfall has been forecasted by local Authority. Then great increase of the temperatures till + 1 degrees.

Here blue sky t min +17.2 !! now 22.2 and we continue like that!......
