RUC calca la mano 8200 di cape

interessante questa MD dove si capisce che SPC fa le previsioni basandosi sulle ETA e nn sulle RUC:
il cape è davvero la metÃ* di quello che da RUC
Hey guys!
Sitting in Gainsville, TX right now...we're waiting if the initiation will start before night. Surface SSE winds are good here, Tds around 60-63F, Temp almost 90 degrees.
Looking at RUC it doesnt look that bad, the only problem could be late initiation if actually it breakes the damn CAP, notice increasing temps at H7. CAPE around 3000, 60kt DL shear. But current mesoscale analises show that CAP can erode at 6-7pm local time, MLCAPE could reach more than 2000 just west of here. Probably we will move towards area south of Wichita Falls soon.
It would be nice to see some nice high based supercell structures and posibly some large hail with damaging winds. I don't see a lot of chances for tornadoes, but you never know.
Anyways tomorrow looks interesting, but its too fat south in TX...maybe we could chase there...because for the next 7-10 days its a total crap, it might be worth.
Take care & ciao from America![]()
