Fellow TT guys...I need some explantions here...

I was looking at those strong storms on SW KS and W OK, they're along a boundary or something...as you can notice from the Watch 0071 it says:

DISCUSSION...SCATTERED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING ALONG AN
AXIS FROM WEST OF AMA INTO SOUTHWEST KS. THIS ACTIVITY WILL LIKELY
CONTINUE THROUGH THE EVENING AND LIFT SLOWLY NORTHWARD WITH SURFACE
BOUNDARY. LOW LEVEL VERTICAL SHEAR IS FORECAST TO INCREASE LATER
THIS EVENING WITH AN INCREASING RISK OF SUPERCELLS CAPABLE OF LARGE
HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS...AND ISOLATED TORNADOES.

So those storms are along the "axis". What exactly does this mean and how do you notice it on the maps? Its well visible on satellites anf radar images, but is there a sign on the surface maps or anything?

Otherwise going pretty good, aread around Odessa are warming up in that clear zone, we should see some nice stuff popin' up soon in that juicy and windy conditions

Axis in italiano è 'asse'. cioè secondo me non ha nessuna implicazione meteorologica ma è semplicemente una descrizione geografica del come sono disposte le storms.
