The high temperatures continue at Beirut aeroport: t max over 20 C from many days...
Snow at 2200 m in the south versant
and 1900-2000 in the north versant.
from 4 January I have sunny days....
The winter don't want to came in Lebanon this year????

Sunday some stations have had 25 C! we can go to swimming
yesterday, cloudy day but without rain.
Today heavy rain, and snow at 1800 mt in the afternoon. It's not very great, but this winter it's very very mild this year.
now I have 12 C near Beirut.

I have had 21 C today at Beirut! a cloudy day, snow only on 2000 m now!
but we will have many rainy days in the next week, with snow at 1700 m...it's not very great but........this winter is really very mild......

yesterday and today with heavy rain in Lebanon, but with mild temperatures. Snow at 1800 m? (I cannot see the mountains with the fog) but the snow can arrive at less altitudes in these days.....I hope.........the perturbation continue.....

Yesterday we have had heavy rain too, today I can see the snow at 1500 m. 9 C this morning near Beirut. the sun return, but we attend an another perturbation Sunday.
we have had about 50 mm at Beirut in one day!
total accumulated in these days: 1 m of snow at Cedars, 50 cm at Faraya, and only 10 cm at Laqlouq...
some rivers has provocated inundations yesterday! in the South Lebanon and the interior plain of Bekaa.

in these sunny days after the storm, we have had this night 3,3 - 3,8 C near Beirut, a record of t min for this winter, but we will have an elevation of temperatures..
snow it was between 800-1200 m sunday monday, now at 1100-1200 m......

Snow at 1200 m, temp. here now 10.3 C

I must say that Lebanon (country) is between the Mediterranean Sea and the 2 snowy mountains ranges, the first near the sea is "Lebanon", the second "Anti-Lebanon".
alt. max in the country 3083 mt = 10114 feet in the north of Lebanon mountains range.
