Hi Serjey!
I don't know if you ever control the climate in Lebanon....but this year we have had a winter very soft, with snow very less than the normal in the mountains....(excuse my english, I'm better in frensh, italian and arabic)
For that I'm sad.....and March have had some days with a hot wind! the "khamsin" ...with t max over 30 C in Beirut!
You can understand that if you see this photo from my home yesterday....mountains between 1500-2500 m without snow or with little snow....
Thank you for your 3D from Siberia.....I'm glad to read it......
Bye bye!
André
Spossiba for your interesting information about Beirut.
Good to know that you can ski also on the mountains around your City.
Here our local mountains the Putoran are closed in winter due to the severe weather conditions. It is possible to walk and ski since April to June.
After June the snow melt on the mountains and in August it is nice to go climbing.
Ciao !

If you want , I have wrotten an article for the climate and snow in Lebanon in english....but the climatic data are in Fahrenfeit and feet.....if you want to see the file..
My interest is to know how it is the annual average total of snowfall in your city, and in your mountains....

Ciao Sergei! (in Lebanon we have GMT + 2 h), you? (GMT+7 h)?
Thank you!...
In fact, in the very small country like Lebanon we have many climates, all mediterraneans, but from coastal, mountains and interior we have many differences.....of sure it is rare to have snow on the coast.....but at 600-700 m we have normally snow....and the half of country is above 1000 m.....
This winter it was very mild, but the precipitation are ok....annual average between 800-900 mm in the area of Beirut.......
I'm reading very things about your zone.......nice!
Ciao!
